I Wish I Would Never Fall In Love
Love is supposed to feel magical,
Bring two souls together,
With Cupid's arrows,
And they live happily ever after.
At least, that happens in fairy tales.
But when the love is gone,
No longer there,
The hearts that became one,
Shatters into little pieces.
The heart bleeds eternally?,
And the love dies, forever.
If that is what love is,
If love is to give everything you have,
Then to have all of that rejected,
Then I don't want it.
I don't want to fall under that spell,
Just to be thrown away,
As if I'm unwanted.
I will not fall in love,
I will not let someone control my emotions,
Just so they can be happy.
I will protect my heart,
In a safe box,
And never open it to anyone,
Ever again...
