I Was Given An Invitation

I was given an invitation to the birth of the fairy
Princess
Who was born in the meadow on a full moon
Who would be the one to steal my heart.
The Queen and King let me in to their wilderness.
I was filled with a grateful thankfulness
For I was going to see their beautiful sweetheart.
I was given an invitation to the birth of the fairy
Princess
This event healed my brokenness.
My heart had been torn apart.
The Queen and King let me in to their wilderness.
I cried when the Queen nodded to the governess
Who brought to me a human to hold in my arms
Their precious work of art.
I was given an invitation to the birth of the fairy
Princess
This gave me a clearsightedness.
I realized that the hole death brings by taking a
Loved one doesn't mean I have to have a flint
Heart.
The Queen and King let me in to their wilderness
During my mournfulness.
They made me a family member who would be
Able to take an active part.
I was given an invitation to the birth of the fairy
Princess
The Queen and King let me in to their wilderness.
