I Think of You
I see a butterfly go by,
I think of you.
When the moon is shining bright,
I can't help but wonder,
are you looking at the same moon,
possibly thinking of me to?
My heart skips a beat,
at the thought of your lips against mine.
I think of the future we can share,
and my heart swells with love.
I love the way you look at me,
with adoration in your eyes.
The same way I look at you,
with all the love I can muster.
I count the hours of the day,
until I can see you again.
I walk impatiently around,
waiting to see your face,
to hear your voice,
and to feel your hand in mine.
I see a flower,
and I think of you.
Our song comes on the radio,
and I turn the music louder.
I listen to our song,
and I start to sing along.
When I look up at the sky,
I see your face in the clouds.
When my days are black or gray,
I think of you and am filled with joy.
I look up at the sky and think of you,
I wonder, do you think of me to?
