I Shall Fall In Love On Christmas Day
For I shall fall in love on Christmas Day,
I shall see my beloved with the mistletoe above.
I shall be quiet, no one will hear what I say,
as we kiss in romance and we shall fall in love.
For I shall exclaim to the world my heart's truth,
and I will finally be his and his heart is the reason.
We shall dance under the lights all night through,
and together we shall celebrate the magic of the season.
For I shall become his wife and we shall bare a child,
just as God came to Mary and Jesus was born.
For he was just a miracle, so meek and so mild,
and was created to save the distressed and forlorn.
For we shall celebrate Christmas for many generations,
every year I have two things on my wishful list,
is to be grateful for the gift of our Savior's creation,
and to keep the memory of falling in love on Christmas.
