When GOD first took my dad away
I turned my back
Now I know that might sound controversial
But you'll see what lead me to take him back
You see I cried so many nights
Cause no one understood
GOD why couldn't you put some sense
into those ignorant teenage minds
They teased me before his death
and talked behind my back when he was gone
I was alone
Friendless
Discouraged
I prayed for so many nights
For somebody to make things better
and I don't know who
But someone up there
Turned my life around
It made me realize that he was there all along
