Today I take a look back in time
On this day nine years prior when I realized you were mine
I never could have imagined how much in love I could be
But then you were placed in my arms
And my heart and soul were suddenly free
Free from all the hurt the world placed on me
Free from the pain that was always surrounding me
Free to let the tears fall down my face
Free to have this beautiful child in my arms to embrace
If nothing ever goes right in my life
I know this one thing is true
My life became perfect the day I gave birth to you!!!
