I must tell you this Valentine’s Day-our first
That you satisfy a longing thirst
With a love that is deeper, yet
Than any in the past has dealt
My spirit you light up with joy
Without you I sometimes feel lost
Now I look forward to a new day
My love I freely bring your way
Our vows, no secrets, no lies, we talk
Accepting each others’ flaws
Though bodies never yet entwine
Imaginings fly beyond the moon divine
Through verse and pen we explore
