I Love You, My Samii
A spectacular sight to see....
As she perches herself up so very high to reach the top,
She turns to me, as if to say "Look at me! Look at me!
I can do all that I can at the top of my castle!"
As she leans backwards,
She plays with the tail of her toy mouse
That's dangling over the edge.
She catches her mouse with a diligent swipe of her paw,
And licks and licks to her heart's content
Of catnip d'or.
"Meeeooowww, meeeeeooooowwwww, eeeeeooooowwwww!"
She races throughout my domain,
Without a strand of fur;
Not a single trace.
She stretches along the windowsill, basks in the sun,
And falls asleep in the warmth of the rays,
Only to be woken by the chatter of birds outside at play.
"Meeeooowww, meeeeeooooowwwww, eeeeeooooowwwww!"
Oh, Samii! Oh, My!
My one and only that I adore so!
