Love Poem: I Like Long Walks On the Beach

I Like Long Walks On the Beach

I like Long Walks on the Beach

I like long walks on the beach while someone is holding my hand, that someone may not be the same someone in a few months but who cares it’s just a man.

I like long walks on the beach. You can look at my feet because I think they’re pretty, but don’t look at anyone else – that would hurt my feelings.

I like long walks on the beach. I’ll pick up sea shells and cast them away, even though I told them I love them every day.

I like long walks on the beach. Let’s play when the sun away. I want you to accept my dark side, keep my anxieties at bay.

I like long walks on the beach, walk with me into the sea. You might step on a few stones, get hit by a few waves… but no one ever said love was easy.

I like long walks on the beach. Let’s test the waters, plunge into the deep. Funny you don’t think I’d lure you this far without getting you weak.

I like long walks on the beach. I need you sacrifice for me. Drawl blood only to see I was the great white all along waiting to devour thee.
