I Have the Genes of Adam and Eve

Look at me and see the handsomeness in this face,
I am a virile part of the beautiful Human Race:
a bit of dad, a bit of mom has made me perfect;
I never dislike myself and feel inferior: it's self-prejudice!
Since Adam and Eve gave birth to Abel and Cane,
we have created powerful nations and races of intellect...
one battles against the other for dominion and superiority;
many mix, others remain pure to claim their identity!

It's not absurd to say I have the genes of Adam and Eve,
our parents were created from mud and the breath of His spirit;
we all have eyes, legs and arms and a mind to perceive
what's good and bad, what's just and unjust, what's moraliastic
and immoralistic: all these aspects are found within our souls
that express exquisitive thoughts and also offensive words.

Nothing but love creates harmony where there's disharmony,
pursue happiness even if it seems too remote from aspiration,
offer hope and comfort to the ones who are willing to stop and listen,
sacrifice yourself for a worthy mission and travel that distance
to reach who needs bread and water for their feeble bodies,
heal their social wounds with the recitation of biblical verses.
I've seen the grief in their glances and heard their voice of dissidance;
even the most advanced societies have rules and laws of inequality.

I proud myself of having the genes of Adam and Eve, and I must
love everyone the way I love myself, sometimes putting me last;
this society has created resentment, anger, bitterness and malady,
and instead of understanding and human compassion they lack pity.
