Love Poem: I Have Drowned

I Have Drowned

Leave my hands safely, and kiss my forehead softly,
Nobody will ever see my heart again
Just like drowning, it’s beautiful, being saved is tragic
I miss drowning, drowning, falling, awakening,
Crying, laughing, hurting, drowning
Drown. The beauty isn’t in the water that pulls you under
The beauty is in the helplessness of the body
Nobody shall ever see me drown again

Spirits are friends you cannot trust,
And trust itself is no friend at all
But everybody falls into its arm because we’re drowning
Drowning is beautiful, believe me, I’ve drowned
Drowned in his eyes, his words, his laugh, his worst,
His best, his all, his nothing, his everything, his heart
Drown. Won’t you? You will, once you love
Nobody can ever see my love again

Here’s a flower to tear your heart out
To freeze the blood that flows in your veins
To penetrate your soul and laugh at you
A flower, is a friend you cannot trust,
It dies too fast, and takes its beauty along, it is selfish
So here is a flower, to leave you disappointed
To drown you in fair beauty and poison,
Drown…

Trust is no friend at all, lets drown in trust,
In love, in feelings, in curses, in hearts, in pain, in sadness
Drowning is beautiful. Believe me, I have drowned
