Love Poem: I Hate Him

I Hate Him

Today stories heard
and lies told
Memories that were good
are not stone cold

Tomorrow he wont remember
what he has said
But every word he spoke
is carved into my head

Just like a bed of roses
with the thorns left in
He sits there in his poses
complaining that I always win

He kills me with his words
and he doesn't give a crap
He has no concerns
if i don't wake from my nap

So here I lay
thinking about you
Just thinking about today
and knowing exactly what to do

My empty eyes stare back
from the shiny new metal
This feeling is a surprise attack
leave my body to settle

As metal touches wrists
metal turns a scarlet red
My breath turns to mist
now your love I have bled
