Love Poem: I Guess

I Guess

I guess I like to hide my real feelings
Hoping that they will eventually go away
I guess i just like lying to myself
pretending that I'm okay

I guess I liked the pity
The pity you used to show
I guess you grew tired of me
I cannot blame you though

I guess I like to pretend
That Love I am without
I guess it makes more sense to me
I guess I liked the doubt

I guess I liked the pain
I guess I liked the tears
I guess the reason I do not hide
Is because I guess I like my Fears

The Fears keep me company
I guess they are my only friends
So I sit here motionless
As these Fears descend

I guess you didn't notice
I assume you do not care
The damage is done greatly
Far beyond repair

Yet you follow this Disaster
Day and Night you pursuit
I guess you won't give up
and I guess I"m falling for you.
