When I know
seeing you
is not possible
is when
seeing you
means more than you know.
If only I could
hold you
forever one night
then perhaps
my love-starved soul
would return
to reclaim ownership
of this zombie-like body
and I’d be whole again.
Even when I’ve become
closer to you
than your skin
I’ll still go crazy
when left alone
without you.
