I fall in love with people
Men, women, children,
Okay, maybe not men
But women and children
I fall in love with them fast
With eager, excited enthusiasm
I want them to spend the day and the night
I never want them to go home to their nest
Once they are found, I want to keep them,
like salt and pepper shakers
I smother them with my joyfulness
I let them know how much I love them
It does not take days, it takes minutes
I feel people faster than most
They have to take a sharp steak knife
And peal me gently off their soft tissue parts
Some of them block me from their phone
I do not care
I love stalking them
