I Cannot See

Who dide you try to fool, yet you fooled me.
I was just another tool, how couldn't I see?
Did you fake it, all along?
How did I take it, when our love was wrong?
How was I to know, your words were all lies.
I watched as you go, through teary eyes.
I thought I could trust, my heart into you.
My ashes into dust, for your words weren't true.
If I die, could you live?
You hear me cry, yet you're so abusive.
Take a close look, to the scars you've created.
I left the path you took, but I foolishly waited.
I called you name, every single day.
It's such a shame, for I saw you walk away.
It's always the same, always your way.
Too late for you, too redeem our love.
What could you do, as I fell from above.
You got lost, along the way.
Was killing me the cost, for you to stay?
You don't belong, no not anymore.
You've killed me for too long, what did I stay for?
As you drown, I cannot stop my laughter.
As you fall down, I no longer jump after.
I would have given you everything, but you couldn't wait.
The joy you would bring, if you would asphyxiate.
I follow your lies, I follow them blind.
Only my cries, is what I find.
All I've found, was pain and sorrow.
Why do I stick around, to see you tomorrow?
All I had, was a memory for you to steal.
You've left me so sad, my heart can never heal.
Can you explain, what happened to me?
Why so much pain, I cannot see.
