I Believe In You, Too

I Believe In You, Too

I have come to realize that I am obsessive
And afraid to act, well, because I am afraid
Like standing at the edge; rehearsing, what if
Instead of jumping;
As the unknown is uncertainly safe
Looking down at the surface uncharted
Looking down on myself, ... why
When those before me have gone without knowing
Then swimming off; so happy, to the other side

But how can it be, as I stand here alone
Contemplating, what is, and what will never be
For I have had feelings I don't understand
And if I jump,
Will you even bother to say goodbye
Looking down at the surface uncharted
Looking down on myself, … why
When those before me have gone without knowing
Though not all, stay happy; on the other side

Each day that I see you and whirling are thoughts
As a smile as white and skin so soft
Each day that I see you, and too few; our words
Your perfume, as sweet as your smile

I have come to realize as I tell you my thoughts
With an attraction, I hope, that will never end
For your beauty is deeper, as any ocean sailed
But, as for love;
By my side, I would rather; you, [as] a friend
Looking up at the Cliffside uncharted
I look around and I wonder, … why
When those before me had gone without knowing
And swam up, to be at my side

Convinced by your strength I can see in your eyes
That you believe in me to be a good man
And only when you believe, can you leap in good faith
For, in truth
You, too, are worthy of another's hand
Looking down at the surface uncharted
Looking out, for each other, we smile
We leap in conviction, for ascension, unknowing
Then, swim ways; ecstatic, for the other side
