I Asked

I asked you to love a broken man
I asked you to love a man with no plan
I asked you to love a man with unknown orders..
I asked you for far too much..

I asked you to not be scared of the Marine
I asked you not to believe in the obscene
I asked you not to forgive me from my past..
But by contrast..let me brake from the order
Let me change parameters and strive to be all i can be for you...
Let me Love...Let me dedicate..Let my soul escape the cages
of conform and let it lye with you day and night...
Let my heart only be yours..
Let me believe I am life...
I am a man who doesn't want to bring death anymore...
Let me be that strength.
Let me be strong without violence...
I never want to hear a child cry as I defy..what i believe in for politics.

I asked you to love a man that was still bleeding
I asked if you to love a man that was still revealing
I asked you to love a wilting bloom...
I asked you to never touch...

But you broke that and became a Savage gardener
Culling and cutting those deepest roots
To try and decipher lies from truths
Yet my words have no impact...are you being obtuse
I asked For Your Hand..

There were no weeds in my heart
Appease and placate...not my art
My art!!..My heart bleeds Know Thyself
I only asked for Ourself..Together Our wealth
