I Am Proud of What Christ Has Done
I‘ve heard people taking pride in different things.
I hear about the kind of “excitement”
they claim this brings.
I’ve read about various stories of
having a “pride day.”
And think about what I believe
and what I’m going to say…
I know of a savior’s love and unfailing grace.
I know of the joy he’s brought to my face.
I am proud of Jesus right now! This very moment!
I’m proud of his death on the
cross and his atonement.
I am going to praise him and shout it out loud!
From the nearest mountain top…
And above the “darkest cloud.”
The Jesus that I know is all powerful! So loving and kind…
His promises are forever and stand the test of time.
HE IS the one whom I take my love and pride in.
For he alone rescued me from the chains of sin.
I love him so much and hold his words so dear…
He is always by my side… And is always here!
Do you hear me world?
I am proud of my Lord and King!
Hallelujah! He’s my rock and fortress…
My everything!
Those who are looking to take pride in
something of their “choosing.”
If it’s not Jesus whom you seek.
It’s you that is losing!
Jesus is here now, and waiting
for an opened invitation.
Experience his love now. And accept his salvation!
I am so thankful for everything that he’s done…
All praise to God the father and Christ Jesus his son!
