I Gave It All
I gave it all, I thought I did, All I had to give,
I struggled and smiled through it all,
hiding my fear and my tears, quiet in
my shallow place, giving you the glory
to take, Giving you my verry soul to take,
,
Why I ponder was it not enough why,
have I given away my fate, I want to
take it all back I do But, where I wonder
would that leave you! Through all the tears
and my fears, You still do not see what
I have given you, Here is the person
you want me to be, You'll never see the person
inside of me, I'll wear my mask for now
turned upside down, so you won't have to
see the frown, I'll hide myself away in that lonely
shallow place!!!
