I Forget If We Met Yet

I FORGOT IF WE MET YET

She could erase the scars of my past
She could make a glittering sky last
She could take us places to me unknown
Where gorgeous flowers are gloriously grown

She could quench the hunger within
She could make a symphony of sympathy begin
She could make a constant rain come to an end
And she could make our two hearts finally blend

She could let me see well past my tears
She could kiss away all of my fears
She could let love finally take control
And she could own me, body and soul

She could replace heartache with hope
with a whisper she could enable me to cope
She could be a dainty and divine dove for me
And she could be an everlasting love for me

She could be roses and rainbows for me
She could be her love that only grows for me
She could grant me with grace forevermore
And she could mean a love I’ve never known before

She could stop a haunting refrain
A song of sorrow would end my pain
She could make this sad man finally forget
But sadly I and this lover haven’t met each other yet
