Hurt You

I walk through life with a smile,
a fake one frozen on my face
You would think me a child,
if tears fell down my face.

I'm strong in a storm of razors and salt;
wearing my smile through the painful assault.
And I’ll never let you know
how you hurt me so.

I want you to see:
My little world of false happy.
My goal to see you hurt,
you and your little flirt.

I see you smile at that girl.
My stomach knots and churls.
Vomit wants behind my lips
when you run your hands to her hips.

So I will fake a smile,
and laugh the whole while.
His hand and mine interlaced.
With a grin in my face.

You'll think I’m okay
Whenever you look my way.
I'll make sure you that you see . . .
My fake smile when you look at me!!
