Hungering For Azzura

She had the allure of an angel
Her name could have been Azzura
Fires lit up upon my beholding her

Warm not cold very warm-hearted
Not snobbish but so ever social
But not to me Allone Azzura why

Love served on the plates laden
With betrayal yesterdays demons
Today invited to our love table
Her eyes do promise eternity..

..It's you only I do love..

They seem to cry out don't leave honey
The knife twisted in my heart the next day
As I beheld her holding hands with a tart..

Where is all the love my Azzura
She avoiding my eyes and I.. yet
On the morrow Azzura is back to Me

Is she the famed devils deal
A demon from depths of hell
Or maybe a stranded angel
But with them broken wings
Yet totally corrupted by flesh

Are you a succubus blood love sucking thing
Bidding your time before you do me so dead
Do you then you collect my head on a platter
Remove your angelic ulterior allowing the you
To roam freely as you nibble my fingers slowly

You loved the touch of the fallen one do keep left
I dread to stand judgment you have corrupted me
Me who was a pure soul whose only sole mistake
Was loving a creature of the light and assencents
And bedding you the best of the best lovely Azzura
