How I Want To Be Loved

I’ve never been accused of being the easiest person to get along with.
Or someone that wasn’t difficult to love.
I’ve never made any of my relationships unchallenging.
Or let anyone fully in.
But I know that somewhere, someplace there is someone who will love me through it all.
Someone who will believe that I’m the world, that there’s no one else they’d rather be with.
Someone who finds comfort in holding my hand or simply sitting next to me.
Somewhere there’s someone who can laugh at the silly things I do and make me laugh in return.
I want someone who can make me smile just as I’m about to cry.
Someone who’s warm embrace can still be felt once he’s not around.
I want someone who finds the good in us when I feel there’s nothing felt.
Someone who wouldn’t give up just because it’s hard.
Someone who’d fight for me until the end.
I want someone who feels my kiss when I’m gone.
Who’d smiles at my memory.
Someone who believes he’s not good enough, but wouldn’t care because I would be his.
I want to be his one and only.
I want to feel his love each and every day.
I want to know that no matter what I do, his feelings wouldn’t change for me.
I want for someone to love me with everything he has.
To grow less stressed at the thought of me.
To be able to tell me anything and everything.
To trust me with every part of him.
To strive to always want to make me happy and to make me less upset.
To bring out the best in me.
I want someone who, when I look into his eyes, I see everything I need.
I want someone who’s smile brightens my day.
I want someone who’s perfect for me each and every way.
I want someone who makes it his mission to make me smile or laugh when I’m angry with him.
Someone who knows what to say or do when I’m down.
Someone who knows how to turn my frown.
I want someone who tries his hardest to be all he can.
I want someone who loves me for me.
This is how I want to be loved.
