HOPES ARE ALL I HAVE
Life was so beautiful when you were beside me
Life was so wonderful when you walked along with me
But you just walked away and left me untold
With the breeze blowing across my face weeping in the cold
I thought it was a dream and wished it were not true
But reality clung on to me with hopes so very few
As I sat down to think about what really went wrong
Memories of you came rushing through our togetherness had been to long
The thought that you have left will never seem true to me
‘Cos even in your absence I feel your near me
As the days pass by I realize im as lonely as can be
And believing that you’re not with me is facing reality
But I will still keep loving you till my feelings are strong
‘Cos I know that from my side nothing did go wrong
Throughout the days of my life I will eagerly wait for you
No matter how long it takes every breath will be for you
And when u come tomorrow if it’s written in my fate
Ill have just one question to ask… why? Why are u so late?
