Love Poem: Holes

Holes

Whistling wind,
screaming in pain,
losing my mind,
kneeling in the rain.

I can't feel it,
the missing part,
I can't see it,
where is my heart?

ripped from my chest,
by your charms,
I can get no rest,
from the damage done in your arms.

I now have no trust,
I am always suspicious,
in my chest lies nothing but dust,
all because you were so vicious.

not love and kindness,
I lost all hope,
only bitterness was taught by my blindness.
one day I'll learn to cope.

now I stand alone,
cold and cruel,
chilled to the bone,
no longer anyone's fool.

so now I scream and shout,
you can see me stripped and naked,
I know what love is all about,
to be naive and taken.

so look my friends and you'll see,
I learned from the best,
but now I'll never be free,
because of the hole in my chest.
