Love Poem: Hole In My Heart

Hole In My Heart

They say that love is patient,
that love is kind,
it happens when the stars align,
but there's nothing in my skies that ever shine,

Well, I've been patient,
I've been kind,
I've made it so I'm easy to find,
but there's no one ever here to call mine,

Where are you?
Who are you?
Are you out there dreamin' of me too?
Do you know how much I need you to be true?

What to do?
I'm so confused!
Are you just beyond the view,
of this hole in my heart I'm looking through?

They say love doesn't envy,
love never boast,
but how am I supposed to know,
when love has always been, almost,

So I envy those,
who boast in love,
who sip from lips the drink of love,
'Cause I know I would never get enough,

So where are you?
Who are you?
Are you out there dreamin' of me too?
Do you know how much I need you to be true?

What to do?
Are you confused?
I'm there waiting just beyond the view,
of that hole in your heart you're looking through.
