His Love Never Fails
little loss, little gain,
but in the spirit is never the same,
what holds you back, what brings you near,
love draws us in, we hold back from fear,
if never knowing is more comfortable to see,
than how do we expect to learn anything,
to push us through, to love in vain,
takes strength and courage to learn through pain,
to see the difference you must feel,
the senses God gave us to see the real deal,
not to ignore or push it away,
but to face them, through testing we learn everyday,
knowledge in the face of fear, love within the face of death,
strength within our weakest times, courage to face the test,
and as we do, God holds our hand,
we think we're down, but our spirit stands,
the whisper of God "The enemy will not prevail",
"get up and rise my love never fails",
and as he picks us back up to see,
that all of this was done to set our hearts free,
to love HIM, to see HIM, to trust HIM enough to know,
HIS love conquers all fear, he will never let us go.
