His Grace

Oh, Lord how abundant is your grace
that one alone can not be good enough
that they shall enter your gate on their own
or bad enough that they shall not enter
for all are dead in their sins
wandering down a wayward path
until being buried in baptism and raised to life
to inherit the treasure of the promised land
that has been paid for in full
pouring out the gift of salvation free
there is no price which could buy it
for when all has been shaken it shall be all that remains
to bring division unto the humble heart
fasting from the ways of the world
and seeking to grow from within
in which all old things are passed away
and a new creation not by the hands of man is formed
that man cannot comprehend from a worldly view
I am thankful that you allowed me to breathe
in given time that I would get tired of my ways
and call out and seek no longer of my own knowledge
that I might begin to see I was blind, deaf, and foolish
and unaware of the deception of man
which sets up himself and own wisdom as idols
while placing thier self in the center
that they shall not eat and not allow
others to eat from the table of righteous
being lead not of the spirit but of the flesh
thankfully through Jesus there is a way
that we might return as a newborn
being birthed into the family of God
no longer relying on our own understanding
but allowing the Lord to lead and direct thou path
that he might abide and riegn in our earthly temple
revealing his glory unto a lost deceived world
