His Dawning His Night

THAN SHE WHISPERED
I WISH I KNEW WHAT SHE SAID
HE SMILED, LOOKING AT THE PICTURE
THAN HE SLIGHTLY TURNED HIS HEAD
WHEN HE PUT OUT HIS CIGGERRETE
SHE SAID SOMETHING AGAIN
HE LOOKED AT HER GASPING
AS HE COULDN'T BELEIVE WHAT SHE SAID
I THINK THE SONG PLAYING WAS
" NIGHTSTRUMMED" THEY GAZED
AT ONE ANOTHERS EYE'S
THEY ORDERED THE DESSERT
TO EVERYONE'S SUPRISE
THEY ATE AND PAID THE WAITRESS
AND GATHERED THEIR THING'S AND LEFT
I SAW THEM IN THE PARLOR TRYING
TO CATCH THEIR BREATH'S
THEY KISSED FOR NEARLY AN HOUR
WAITING FOR THE CAB
HE OPENED THE DOOR
SHE SPOKE AND HE LAUGHED
I WISH I COULD HAVE HEARD THEM
TO PUT THEIR WORDS TO SONG
A NIGHT WATCHING LOVER'S
PLAYING MY SIMPLE SONG!

Seacant Interlude
------------------------------------------------------------------
by definition
love is a feeling between two people
by definition
thing's are never that simple
some people find it easy
to make thing's complex
by distorting dreams
lead you on
that's the way it seems
never been as lucky
cause some got alotta schemes
love aint as easy
as some people will have you to believe
have you saying
wish I, did something another
then you feel real down
talk bad to one another
take time to make up
but you're preparing for the next
just a daydrum daydap
it put's a damper on everything
