Hippocratic Why

Why do you say you love songs to sing?
You glare and walk away when I hum or to my lips a tune I bring.

Why to say you love to talk?
You avoid people and walk away and them you silently mock.

Why do you say in cool waters you love to swim?
You sit all day dipping your feet on the banks of the pond filled up to the brim.

Why do you say you love to write?
You scribble terribly notes which within your self fail to ignite illusive delight.

Why do you say you love the cloud?
You gawk and gape at them and silently scorn at them as the sky they begin to overcrowd.

Why do you say you love the rains?
You open up an umbrella in a downpour and your emotions constrain and within yourself contain.

Why do you say you love the sun?
You walk around in shades and to a shady spot you choose to run.

Why do you say you love the wind and the breeze?
You close the windows and shut out the view to the scenic beauty of the flowering trees.

So now I am afraid when you say you love me
Because you will not let me be me

You will look through me when you say you love me,
Our future together in your heart’s eye not envisage and see.

Then why do you say you love me
Then why do you say you want to be with me……..
