He's That Someone
He's that someone who always cares,
Who's always there,
Like an inextinguishable candle in the wind.
He's that someone who never fails
When it comes time to make me giggle or grin.
And despite his silliness and childish ways,
He always knows the perfect way to patch the holes in my heart left from the
others,
And the ditches that have been dug by those who have come after him.
He's that someone I can't get rid of,
No matter how hard I've tried
And he always seems prepared for it,
Like he knows what's on my mind.
He's that someone who will always have a piece of my heart, my soul,
And a piece of my thoughts,
Although I continue to love others as they come and go.
But maybe soon I'll finally realize
That he isn't just anyone.
Because if I'd look hard enough I'd see
That special someone who truly loves me.
And He's that someone.
