Hermit Crabs Or Softness Free To See

The freedom to express one's deepest feelings, or softness, to another is a gift shown and given, to infrequently in our lifetimes. it's value taken for granted by parties tuning out. because of the familiarity of the sounds of the voices heard, one to many times, active listening, now reserved only for the new. So gifts given but not valued, can cause us to become like hermit crabs, experiencing growth in our physical beings out front for all to see, over a course of a lifetime, yet start shielding our emotional venerability in shells, protecting and hiding our softness deep within hardened layers, free from predators and foes. But at what cost? No longer easily reached by potential friends, no connections possible thru hardened shells, dependent on like softness to touch deeply, and awaken the spirit within. What if we all were free to expose our softness, shells cast aside, no longer heavy weights, necessary to feel safe. With fear of injury and hurt removed, and a likeness and feature now visible, a softness exposed and shown, able to be seen by all encountered, the differences of physicality in front, no longer are threatening or misunderstood. The softness no longer protected, underlying, now is seen and felt becoming a transcending sign language, broadcasting the message you're now OK, because underneath you're just like me. If you can shed your shell, maybe your spirit will awaken, become energized, and help restore your will, to turn the no's of relationships, past, present, and yet to come, into Yes's and Maybe's. And just maybe a chance encounter, will become a connection, when walking where waves distribute the sands of time, Mother Nature's hourglass, we will all be held to, safely within our shells? or brand new?
