Here We Are
Romance's were a dime a dozen.
Although our love is unique and free.
But since day one there was little discussion.
Because you seem to think just like me.
From that warped personality complex you have.
To that go get em enthusiastic drive.
To your wonderful heart that's connected to mine.
And to everything else that's inside.
Though we've had our share of ups and downs.
And honestly everything else in between.
We always find our way back around.
And set the standard for a love that's never been seen.
While completely casting aside everyone's skepticism.
And paving a way for our own path.
We did it in such a way and ignored their criticism.
So ten years later it kinda makes me laugh.
When they foolishly think our best is behind us.
I'm looking forward and I feel you holding me tighter.
We've even gotten so good we made the devil surrender.
He was crying while saying our future couldn't be brighter.
It's possible no one really knew about this kind of love.
Cuz I'd certainly never experienced it up until now.
But a happenstance encounter that now fits like a glove.
And a connection that God himself shouldn't allow.
It's funny where would we be without one another.
Because together we've come tremendously far.
Just wishing the naysayers could soon discover.
That it's our prerogative so HERE WE ARE!
