Love Poem: Her Name Was Fondly -And I Asked To Speak To Her Father

Her Name Was Fondly -And I Asked To Speak To Her Father

I was 17
She was 15
Her name was Fondly
Yes, she's somebody's daughter
So I went to her house a calling
I knocked on the door
And Fondly opened the door I speedingly said
Is your father at in is he at home
Could you go get him
Yet before she left
I gaze upon her scarlet bronze eyes
And in that moment
That one second, we bonded, connected
I couldn't replace that moment
She left to get her father
I gasped whispered to myself I hope her father likes me
Her dad came to the door I said good evening sir...
Hello Mr. Johnson
He immediately said hello son what can I do for you
I didn't reply I said Mr Johnson hi my name is Derek and I'm in love with your daughter but sir I honestly can say I can wait until she's of age so we are both young
And to tell you the truth when she's 21 I'm coming back here to ask you for her hand in marriage
But until then sir I'm going to do all my due diligence to be humbly polite treat it like a queen so one day should be my wife so Mr Johnson Grand and as I came in he told his wife honey you better set another plate for dinner I think my daughter has now and in the future a good man or winner

Come on in son and sit down
Let's talk now about presence-tense
And also those future plans for my princess
