Help Me Breathe

HELP ME BREATHE

When we met-
you, found me bleeding...
Barely breathing-
but you saved me... you rescued me

On that day-
I was, torn and tattered...
But all that mattered,
was, you cared for me, you sheltered me

Bridge
I should have known that, there’s no way it could last
I fell hard way too fast, I can’t live in the past
I’ve got to breathe to stay alive, I need air to survive

Chorus
So wont you-help me breathe...oh baby
Help me breathe...oh oh oh oh
I can’t breathe today,
cause, you left yesterday
And when you left…
you took… my breath away
So wont you-help me breathe...oh baby
Help me breathe...oh oh oh oh
I can’t breathe today,
cause, you left yesterday
And when you left…
you took… my breath away

Here I am-
choking, on the pieces...
the pieces of what...
used to be... of you and me

Here I am-
drowning... in despair...
in despair cause...
there aint no air...
without you there

Bridge
I should have known that, there’s no way it could last
I fell hard way too fast, now,I can’t live in the past
I’ve got to breathe to stay alive... I need air to survive

Chorus
So wont you-help me breathe-oh baby
Help me breathe-oh oh oh oh
I can’t breathe today- cause, you left yesterday
And when you left...you took my breath away
So wont you-help me breathe-oh baby
Help me breathe-oh oh oh oh
I can’t breathe today- cause, you left yesterday
And when you left-you took my breath away

Chorus repeat fade
