Love Poem: Hello and Meow

Hello and Meow

I am a kitty Cat
and I came to live with a sweet lady when I was five years old
I came from a home where I was not loved
and left alone all day ... oh yes, I was a sad Kitty Cat
the lady took me to the Vet and he said I was too small
for an adult cat, I weighed only five pounds
but the lady changed all that
and soon I thought of her as my mommy
she feeds me wet food four times a day and dry anytime
the wet food makes me silently fart, nothing too stinky
but it is good for me and I have gained weight
although, I will never be a big cat
mommy says I am too delicate and tiny
I get treats too but she makes me do tricks for them
and it was discovered that I did not know how to play
now, I have a scratching post with a dangling toy
a flat on the floor scratching thing, a cat play mat
a comfy bed, a cat pillow, and toys that squeak and roll
sometimes, when I am running fast, I fart
I have pretty food and water dishes
and a pink collar with a bell
mommy brushes me every day so I do not get tangles
and she cuts my nails (I don't like that much and growl)
oh yes, I am a very pampered cat
it has been years now and I am ten years old in cat years
I think that's old in people years too, like seventy
is what mommy says
I have her very well trained to sit on the sofa
and pet me but if she presses my tummy, I fart
she says I snore really loud too
well, if you say so mommy
you do too
as I am getting older I sleep more (a lot)
and the farting thing is worst as it sneaks up on me
but mommy only smiles at me and laughs and gives kisses
I know she loves me very much even though I snore loud
and sometimes when I am totally relaxed
fart
