Love Poem: Heaven's Calling

Heaven's Calling

After all the moisture
has evaporated from your body
and returned as precipitation
After love made in the rain
and quiet storm has been played
When desire loses its yearn
when passion transforms
into a vehicle that takes
us through the years
Commitment replaces
our faith, and our fears
come to terms with living
without one another
When we finally come to rest
and the next dimension is
ushered in, you'll be
reigning over me.
An atmospheric process
with heavenly properties.
Rain on me
Completely rearrange
and restack me.
Take me apart like Legos.
Scatter me all over the floor
Rebuild me with
 Guinness record
   determination.
Make me your toy
Play with my anticipation
and energize my heat
let me be a part of
your ninety-eight degrees
Drench me completely
Yes, Indeed, overtake me.
Revitalize so this feeling
moves through us like
seismic activity against
Lego mansions
Obliterated and recreated
Your motion has me going places
Next dimension beckons
while being a witness for your body
Reign over me with
an evangelical quality
Let me be your
  Heaven's Calling
