Heaven Or Hell
From our behavior on Earth, we have a choice between heaven or hell
I'm trying to change my ways so that in heaven I may dwell
I plan to be around the cross and at the meeting
I plan to be with God and in his kingdom eternally
Getting to know God is the best thing we could ever do
Cause at the end of life, whose else eyes and face are you going to have to look
into?
I'm trying to get on board
So that I can be heavenly bounded with my Lord
No, not everything in my life is good
And there's other people who feel the way that I do, so I know that I'm not
misunderstood
I want to walk the streets that are said to be pearly
And enter the gates that are said to be gold
I want to be in heaven so I can forever be happy
So I can see of the wonders from the stories that I was once told
Me going to Hell is not in my vocabulary
So devil, step aside and get behind me
Don't touch me, don't push me, and don't tempt me
For I have prayer and God, and He will never leave me nor forsake me
If I keep God at the head of my track
He will keep you off of my back
You see, Hell is hot and only burns
And the devil can't do nothing for me but get on my nerves
There's so many things that God can do for me
That's why I choose heaven and heaven only
