Heaven

Where is this place called heaven?

Through the dawn-light, entering a
mystic-cleft between earth and sky

Perhaps, the bright where the
night-eye flies – make a left, at the
Big Dipper – straight ahead till
the marker, God!

Heaven, the father-side of earth infirmity? –

Or as Christ said: already inside
of us~ No need to travel (a blessing with
the cost of fuel rising clear out-of-sight)

Could heaven then be, less a place apart,
and more a near-in release

can it be less a banquet reached, scratched out of
toil-full earth living...and closer a feast, already set,
for the taking by its own, innate Christ relationship giving

Must heaven be reached only through the doorway of painful death, beyond a bloody curtain of sin and guilt parted...or can such thorn-full existence be rightfully avoided, allowing all us hood-winked, therefore psychically blind to clearly live outright man's Divine essence? Has the Rapture been delayed, weighted down, colored over by humanity's own, dark surface capture...freedom kept just beyond the arm-length of immortal time – our ring-tones and chimes controlled by a devil who keeps turning heads and hearts with his pit-full keys, hell's damnable-winding? – St John 10.34: “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” Or only some scripture is correct?
