Love Poem: Heaven
Connie Marcum Wong Avatar
Written by: Connie Marcum Wong

Heaven

The scent of jasmine in the evening breeze,
The glory of colors in autumn trees.
Love poems to enchant my impassioned heart
Sculptures, paintings and all forms of great art.

To hear children's laughter, play with them too
Music of my choice that sings the day through.
To have animals to love and to hold
A floral garden with hues bright and bold.

Mountains in vistas that takes breath away;
Bathe in blue lagoons at end of the day.
Eat favorite foods and not gain any pounds
Never to argue, feel love that abounds.

To be with my soulmate, never feel blue,
To never grow old and keep healthy too.
Play any instrument I so desire
Raise my vibration higher and higher.

To meet up with kin and friends I have lost
For the price of dying , not a great cost;
Heaven is worth all the treasures on earth
With a wealth that consists of precious mirth.

Dancing with angels by light of the moon
Enchanted by magic until I swoon.
A sunset that lasts to put me to sleep...
Feel cherished by God and graced by his keep!
