Heart's Adore

Can the more be for the less
As panting love being beset - succumbing to what is best
Why must the mind endure for the heart
As emotions become unstrung by the dark
Be it offensive to love?
Be thou infringed oh heart’s adore!

Can the less suffice above the more
As panting love grafting true light becomes subdued by world’s hoards
How must the heart endure for the mind?
Be it offensive to love?
Be thou infringed oh heart’s adore!

Be it offensive to love?
How can the more be for the less?
As panting love doth become beset
Succumbing to what must be best
Doth my emotions become twanged and unstrung by sane reason
Why must the my heart endure for my mind
Be thou infringed oh heart’s adore!
