I came to visit you my love,
been lost since you flew up above;
I recall our sweet wedding song.
Heartbroken I stand here so strong.
Many memories in my head,
my spirit left bleeding and dead;
for your sweet loving arms- I long.
Heartbroken I stand here so strong.
Do not think of my tears as weak,
for though sad I am quite unique;
for I can write of life- till dawn.
Heartbroken I stand here so strong.
And send my words into the sky,
where they float, weep, and drift, and fly;
oh, to sad writing I am drawn.
