Heartbreak
I lived and loved,
hurt and ached
pained my heart
to watch it break.
Gave it all,
got none in return
to build a life
and watch it burn.
Be it right or wrong,
my destiny astray
to do it over endlessly
as time just ticks away.
If I knew then,
what I know now
I'd saved my love
someway, somehow.
