Hear the Hearts In Love
If you sit and listen,
truly sit there and listen
for hours and only hours on end,
you will hear such a strange,
but a graceful sound
of a heart thumping and singing
in such a beautiful thing called, "Love"
Hear her sing,
swinging on a swing
smiling, and singing
such a graceful tune.
Listen to her heart thumping away,
listen to all those hearts sing
in love in such a graceful and peaceful way.
Love so strong such as ours,
takes us to a place,
not known to loveless hearts,
though heart be in love
by their own definitions,
they will truly be in love
when they sit and truly listen
to another’s heart in love.
See me walk alone,
but smiling,
it is cold, yes it is,
but not one chill in the gusting, wild winds
would never extinguish the flame
that keeps my heart from dying,
the flame called, "Love"
If you sit and listen,
truly sit and listen,
you will hear the thumping and singing
of a heart truly in love.
Such a beautiful thing in love,
is undiscovered till such a lonesome heart
starts to smile and sing.
Can you hear them?
Can you see the smiles,
and hear the warm voices,
feel the warm embraces?
Listen, truly sit there and listen
to all those hearts in love.
Such a beautiful sound,
that shines the sun in the darkest,
and greyest of finest hours.
