He Chose Me

'Tis the greatest gift I met him.
The perfect moment me won't forget
When in rags, shame and clay, love
his
Drew me near till in his arms I found
myself.
Such a blissful irony of beauty and
much filth.
I till now wonder, why me among so
much many?
None of it made sense, but his love
felt no less.
Then told he me, I he chose before
the world's birth.
Such history of love left my brain in
silent misery.
Once thought I he I found but learnt
it was his plan.
Ere I never knew divinity eyes were
set on me.
Madly glad I am, for a love he best
understands.
