He and I
He touched my life, He made me whole,
He forgave my sins, He cleansed my soul.
He hears my prayers, He hears my pleas,
Especially those on bended knees.
He grants me grace, with blessings each day,
As I awake to follow in His way.
He is my Rock, my anchor through life’s toughest storms,
It’s then I feel His presence, His mighty arms.
There are those that claim He does not exist,
To those I say this boat you have missed.
Our walk through life is hard, yet very short,
Those that seek Jesus know His love for them will never part.
When the day comes when you take that final walk alone,
Close your eyes and see the most glorious face you’ve ever known!
That’s the day our life truly begins,
For satan loses, and guess who wins?
