SO beautiful! And cutting up salamis!
She drops one, which I grab – I wash it off!
She radiates, just like the pregnant mommies
I see, passing the school… Now, now, don’t scoff!
The Love she bears for Children’s like a cloud,
It twinkles happily in her green eyes,
It’s like music spiraling up, not playing loud,
Like a Joy that makes me feel, ten times my size!
The feeling all about her’s soft, like fleece,
When I hold her tight, by God, the feeling grows!
It’s half akin to Love, and half, to Peace,
It smells like lavender, pine woods, and rose!
And now, she’s making sandwiches, great feat!
I have the best wife, for the Love of Pete!
