Haunted By a Long Lost Love

Haunted by a long- lost love,
searching the heavens up above
my lover is all I can dream of.

The gilded leaves of Autumn sigh
as his eyes close to say goodbye;
I kiss his lips and pray as I cry.

On a passing cloud there floats a dream,
as I see him fishing downstream
with the Lord by his side he is seen.

Silhouettes in Moonlight,
dancing to the sounds of the night
as the autumn turns into winter gleaming lights.

The soft song of a Summer Breeze,
jasmine nodding leaves mingle in the trees,
my lover is all I can think of as I fall to my knees.
