children

mother earth—
siblings
needing
air
water
food &
shelter—
sun
kisses
everyone
with
equal
warmth
as rivers
flow
binding
lands &
hearts alike
birds sing songs
of unity at dawn
whales harmonize
in oceans
wide and deep
all living,
beings
love
have
offspring,
need
affection,
seek
safety;
all defend
their own
to death,
if necessary
heart
knows
no enemy
when
open to
judgments
fears
& doubts
l o v e
linger
pure &
unconditional
spirits are
harmonic &
descry
peace
within
hear
empathic
whispers
amid
conversing
leaves
flesh &
bone
incur
b l u n d e r s
s o u l
is one
with all
one nation
under one sky
breathing
as one &
stars
above
remind us
of
shared
